Makassar is the provincial capital of South Sulawesi. It is a city with a population of about 1.7 million people. The city of Makassar can be accessed by a two-hour flight from Jakarta’s International Airport, or an hour from Bali’s International Airport. There are hundreds of flights to and from Jakarta every day. Makassar is a city with a high security index in Indonesia.
